LIMA EXHIBITION STAND DESIGN TERMS OF USE AND GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

By visiting this website (www.limafuar.com), requesting a quote through the forms available on the site, or contacting Lima Fuar Stand Tasarım İth. İhr. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (hereinafter referred to as “LIMA FUAR” or the “Company“) for exhibition stand design, manufacturing, logistics, and installation services, you are deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions in advance.

1. Definitions and Scope of Service

LIMA FUAR provides services for the conceptual design, factory manufacturing, secure transportation, on-site assembly (installation) at the exhibition grounds, and dismantling (disassembly) at the end of the exhibition for wooden (custom design), modular, maxima, or rental exhibition stands to be used in domestic and international exhibition organizations. The images, 3D drawings, and portfolio works displayed on the website are solely for informational and illustrative purposes.

2. Design and Intellectual Property Rights

  • Design Rights: All 3D exhibition stand designs, architectural drawings, layout plans, and conceptual ideas prepared specifically for the client or prospective client by LIMA FUAR belong exclusively to LIMA FUAR within the scope of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works.
  • Unauthorized Use: It is strictly prohibited to have the original designs presented by us manufactured by another manufacturer/stand company, or to copy, modify, or share them with third parties without a written contract or official approval. In the event an infringement is detected, legal actions will be initiated, and the right to compensation is reserved.

3. Pricing, Quotes, and Payment Terms

  • Validity of Quotes: Price quotes prepared by LIMA FUAR are valid for 15 (fifteen) days from the date of issuance, unless stated otherwise in the official quote form. Quotes may be revised after this period due to sudden fluctuations in global or local material, currency exchange, and labor costs.
  • Payment Schedule: To initiate the service and manufacturing process, the down payment (advance payment) specified in the contract must be completed. The remaining balance must be settled prior to or during the turnkey delivery of the stand to the client at the exhibition area. LIMA FUAR reserves the right to halt the installation or withhold delivery of the stand to the client for projects whose payments have not been completed.

4. Responsibilities and Approvals of the Client

  • Technical Information Flow: The client is responsible for providing LIMA FUAR with complete and accurate stand space layouts (angles, pillar locations, etc.) and technical requirement documents (electricity, water, internet, rigging points, etc.) obtained from the exhibition management or organizer firm. LIMA FUAR cannot be held liable for disruptions resulting from missing or incorrect technical information.
  • Design and Project Approval: Before starting the factory manufacturing process, the client must approve the final 3D project in writing (via email or instant messaging approval text). Any design changes, additional materials, and labor costs requested by the client after approval will be invoiced to the client, and the Company will not be held responsible for any potential delays in delivery times.
  • Client Logos and Artwork: The client is obligated to deliver the vector files of their logos and artwork to LIMA FUAR in a print-ready format at least 10 days before the installation start date for domestic exhibitions in Turkey, and at least 20 days prior for international exhibitions.

5. Installation, Delivery, and Force Majeure

  • Delivery Time: LIMA FUAR undertakes to have the stand ready and delivered to the client before the “installation completion time” specified in the official Exhibitor Manual of the relevant exhibition organization.
  • Force Majeure: The Company cannot be held responsible for delays caused by force majeure events beyond the control of LIMA FUAR, such as late delivery of the exhibition area by management, bureaucratic or physical delays at customs gates/border zones (for international exhibitions), adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, states of war, or sudden prohibitions imposed by official authorities.

6. During the Exhibition and Dismantling (Disassembly)

  • Responsibility for Use and Damage: Following the turnkey delivery of the stand, if rental furniture, electronic devices (TVs, LED screens, etc.) within the stand, or the main structure of the stand are damaged due to defective/negligent use by the client or exhibition visitors during the exhibition period, the cost of the damage will be recourse to the client.
  • Evacuation of Belongings: Dismantling (disassembly) operations begin immediately after the official closing hour of the exhibition. The client is responsible for evacuating their own exhibited products, brochures, electronic devices, and valuables from the stand by the closing hour of the exhibition. LIMA FUAR is not liable for any client belongings left behind, forgotten, or lost during dismantling.

7. Cancellation and Termination Conditions

In the event of a unilateral cancellation of the project or contract by the client:

  • If the factory manufacturing process has not yet commenced, the architectural design, project planning, and administrative expenses incurred up to that point will be deducted from the received down payment, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • If material procurement has been completed and the factory manufacturing process has begun, the down payment received will not be refunded. If the expenditures incurred by LIMA FUAR up to that point exceed the down payment amount, the difference will be claimed from the client.

8. Competent Courts

The Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction over the resolution of any disputes arising from these terms of use and general conditions of service.
